Abstract
Battery Manufacturing Quality poses a recurring problem of coordinating performance with evidence quality, resource limits, and transfer across settings. This comparative analysis considers linking process variation, microstructure, formation, and lifetime through auditable quality evidence. The review triangulates 1 focal paper with 12 independently retrieved publications confirmed at bibliographic registration or publisher level. The analysis is organized around process windows, microstructure, formation variability, non-destructive inspection, and lifetime uncertainty. The comparison does not regard results from heterogeneous studies as exchangeable, the review compares task scope, modeling premises, and evaluation limits. Across the literature, the comparison suggests that advances in battery manufacturing quality become credible when structure-property relationships are evaluated together and when uncertainty about operando characterization is reported explicitly. The proposed reading joins method selection to implementation risk, making transfer failures visible, and proposes a research agenda centered on explicit comparators, boundary tests, and reproducible artifacts.
