Abstract
Sleep, epilepsy, and neurophysiological regulation share common biological foundations involving ion dynamics, neuronal excitability, metabolic stress, and inflammatory responses. This topic centers on evidence modeling for neurological conditions by connecting genetically encoded ionic-stress sensing with epilepsy knowledge graphs and neuropsychological assessment. Proton-related ionic stress offers a mechanistic perspective on sleep regulation, while epilepsy reasoning requires structured evidence across seizure types, clinical observations, imaging, and molecular pathways. Knowledge graphs provide a mechanism for linking physiological sensor findings with disease-level clinical reasoning. Additional evidence from neurodegenerative disease mapping, obesity-related bone development, exosome diagnostics, and inflammatory spinal conditions expands the biomedical context. The resulting literature structure supports mechanistic reasoning across sleep biology, epilepsy, cognitive status, and neurological disease progression.
